Hi, I'm Melissa - the artist behind Artful Nests! Living in the Charleston area, it is impossible not to be inspired by the surrounding waters, coastal marshes, and seaside lifestyle. What began as a passion project playing with fluid art mediums quickly turned into a mission to share the calming spirit of the beach with ocean lovers worldwide.

When I’m not covered in resin, mixing custom turquoise pigments, or testing out new wave lacing techniques in the studio, you can usually find me playing uber driver for my kids, exploring the local lowcountry waterways or hunting for design inspiration along the coast.
